I’ve read a couple editions of The Oregonian every week for the nine years I’ve lived in Oregon. The profile of teacher Aubrey Williams is the most inspiring, touching article I have ever read (“Teaching at the intersection of grief and hope,” Dec. 14). Facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles, she makes a huge difference in the lives of the students and in the life of the community where she works. She is simply the epitome of love.
So nice in this season of special meaning to be reminded of how many good people there are who care. Caring is really all we need to solve most of our problems.
Thanks for profiling Aubrey. So many good qualities wrapped up in one beautiful person. Inspiring.
