Infertility in western medicine is defined as six months of trying to conceive over the age of 35 and one year of trying to conceive under the age of 35. But each person’s story and situation is so much more than what numbers reflect.
That Expert Show host Anna Canzano is inviting you to submit your questions about fertility, pregnancy and labor. Her guest Monday night is Liz Richards, clinic director and owner of Blossom Clinic. Richards will discuss how acupuncture can help with fertility, pregnancy and labor.
You can submit questions to Canzano via email, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
During the live interview, Canzano and Richards will discuss how fertility is declining as a whole, how mental health plays a role, and how vitamins and herbs can help with the process.
Richards has practiced fertility and prenatal acupuncture for 20 years. As a Portland Monthly Top Doc for the last nine years, she is known for her compassion, patient connection, and process-oriented approach. She has helped thousands of families in the Pacific Northwest. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University in 1996 and a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2002. She is a member of RESOLVE National Infertility Association and the National Association of Reproductive Medicine. She holds her license in the states of Oregon and California.
