TD Garden lifts proof of vaccination requirement

Starting Monday, the home of the Boston Bruins and Celtics, the TD Garden, will no longer require people to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to enter the venue.In a statement sent over the weekend, venue managers and the two teams announced that the arena will be aligning its requirements with those laid out by the city of Boston.Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced late Friday that required people entering certain indoor spaces to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 was lifted effective immediately.TD Garden is still aligning with the city’s requirement to wear face masks in public indoor spaces, as all guests age 2 and older need to wear a mask at all times while indoors, except when actively eating or drinking. Touring artists or league protocols could request proof of vaccination be checked again in the future, venue officials said.
