Learning center for children diagnosed with autism opens in Chandler – KTAR.com

(InBloom Autism Services)

PHOENIX – A new learning center that helps children diagnosed with autism announced Tuesday it has opened the doors to families living in the southeast Valley.

The new InBloom Autism Services center in Chandler provides applied behavior analysis therapy to children as a form of treatment for autism.

The location at Alma School and Ray roads has over 9,500 square feet of space and various learning environments ranging from smaller therapy rooms, large play rooms and a full-sized classroom.

“The variety of large rooms within that space really lets us be creative,” Regional Clinical Integrity Officer Lainey Posthumus said in a press release.

“With that flexibility it allows us to create the best learning environments for each of the kiddos we work with, their caregivers and for our staff as well.”

Adjustments to the health and safety protocols at InBloom Services have been made due to the impact of COVID-19.

The center credits a growing demand in center-based and in-home ABA therapy services in Phoenix for the need to invest in a second learning space.

Posthumus will oversee the new clinical team, according to the release.

Caregivers interested in inquiring about therapy services at the Chandler center can call 888-754-0398 or visit online.
